Client: EPC contractor for a concentrated solar power (CSP) plant.
Challenge: Required high-temperature 321H stainless steel seamless tubes for solar receiver heat exchanger panels. Tubes needed to withstand cyclic thermal stress (from ambient to 550°C daily) and maintain structural integrity for 25+ years.
Our Solution: Supplied solution-annealed 321H tubes with guaranteed high-temperature tensile strength and scaling resistance. Provided extensive heat lot traceability and positive material identification (PMI) reports.
Result: The tubes were successfully installed and have been operating within performance parameters since the plant's commissioning.
