42CrMo4 Colled Rolled Seamless Alloy Steel Honed Tube For Bearing Tube
42CrMo4 is an alloy steel material. It is used to manufacture forgings that require higher strength and larger quenched and tempered sections than 35CrMo steel, such as large gears for locomotive traction, transmission gears for turbochargers, rear axles, connecting rods and spring clips subjected to extremely heavy loads. 42CrMo4 can also be used for drill pipe joints and fishing tools for oil wells deeper than 2000m.
42CrMo4 steel is an improved variety of the American AISI standard 4140 steel. This steel has good machinability, is easy to polish, easy to etch and can be electroplated.
